Ha, I remember those urns. My mom still has one, with the cork stopper. It must be 30 yrs old.

Re: Rubiglo - Does anyone remember/have this product?

Oh yes, I remember it! I used it too as a teenager, then I do remember that QVC presentation: I was enthralled with it-along with Yves Rocher!

My biggest problem with Rubiglo is that it was darned concentrated, it was so easy to overdo....but I loved that concept.

Today, I wore Edward Bess Silk Threads powder and it was phenomenal! Great day look!

Rubio is so intense, and as I remember, they came out with different shades....but I don't think I would ever go back.

These days blushes and bronzer can do the same and are so much easier to control.

Re: Rubiglo - Does anyone remember/have this product?

My mother bought this from Home Shopping Club in the 80's. I remember the urn and her set came with 4 "gold" brushes and a clear stand for them. She should have known then I would be a makeup junkie, as I would come home after school and try it on in her bathroom when  no one was looking. Smiley Wink I might have been in junior high.  When you mentioned it in this post she and I both had a chuckle thinking back to those days.

Wow.  I remember this product.  I loved it.

On that note, does anyone remember Michael Maron?  He used to demo an all-in-one powder bronzer product that could be used on many skin tones.  I don't remember the exact name of the product, but, it could be used on eyes, cheeks, as contour and shading and all over cover.  This is before the Bare Minerals took flight.  I remember the model, Joy, used to demo a 1 minute makeover using the product.

@Msgdfx

I think it was called Mojave Magic. I used and liked both these products!

I remember the michael maron product too!  Loved it-also used the Rubiglo but found the michael maron easier to use.  great memories--wish they still made the maron stuff.
