Sueinsf, if you use WEN, do you use the oils for scalp treatment? I had thinning hair, along with it being fine, and my center part was getting wider until I got serious with the WEN tea tree/eucalyptus oil at least once a week. That has filled in my thinning hair very nicely. I haven't tried the laser devices, because I'm very satisfied by the results of the WEN oil on my scalp. I think that all the other oils condition the scalp very nicely, but it's the tea tree oil that really promotes hair growth, so that's what I concentrate on using.

Kalinka, I'm over 60, and the WEN tea tree oil scalp treatment has worked very well for me, so if the dry shampoo doesn't work, don't give up, give the WEN oil a try, it might work as well for you as it does for me.

I use either Toppik or XFusion since 2008, both come in Auburn, I color my hair with Colorsilk Dark Auburn and the auburn fibers are perfect for me.

There are several root booster products on the market, and you will have to try them until you find what works for you. My favorite is John Frieda. I also use something for extra volume, Taya amazon white clay works for me. I continue after blow drying with living proof dry volume blast, and L'oreal Boost It. I style with Nick Chavez soft flocker. I top it all off with Joan Rivers great hair day. Of course, my product choices were after a lot of trial and error, but this is what works for me at this moment. I must be on the right track because I was recently asked if I ever had to "thin out" my hair. OMG. I have the thinnest hair! Thank goodness for these hair products! I hope this helps you. A lot of us in your same boat. And, don't rule out a great haircut, along with highlites.

@CamilleP Thanks. I've used the oils (although I admit, not always regularly). I only tried a 1oz bottle of Tea Tree oil (still have about 1/4 left). I really didn't care for the scent and not one I like to keep in overnight but I suppose I can give that another try and see if it works.

@Shelbelle Joan Rivers Auburn was much too dark for me -- don't know if this will be the same (I'm not a dark auburn - more auburn/light auburn) but I can look in to it.

I hav been using Neocell Derma Matrix collagen fr almost 2 years. Its available most of the time at Vitacost online. It contains other ingredients, one of them hyaluronic acid as well as Vit C. Its a powder, dissolves easily in coffee. Its bout 17$ fr a months supply. My hair loss began when i lost my oldest daughter in 2016. This product has made my hair fuller; even my hair cutter has noticed. I'm not sure if it has caused new growth r simply made my hair more healthy. Worth a try!
Thanks @whitelinen78. I've tried Lessman's Marine Collagen but I'll look in to this. I've also tried taking 5000mg Biotin (a friend swears by taking Biotin to make her hair fuller). I'd definitely like more fullness vs more growth. How long did it take for you to see a difference using this?

An inexpensive option is Got2be powderful volumisinv powder. It is around $4 at ultra and some drug stores. It is silica powder and will give you volume in the roots. Too much Is not good so start slow!
bumble and Bumble makes a power I prefer called " pret a powder." It is $27 but I prefer it only because you dont need to be as lighthanded with it. The GOt2be is powerful stuff. You will get root volume with it guaranteed.

Thanks @Mrsq2022. Looks like the Bumble powder is primarily a dry shampoo? I see Got2be also makes a mousse -- have you ever tried that? For $4 I will definitely look for the powder.
