I just found out about the new return policy too.  I sent back 2 Susan Graver items only to be refunded $1.05 each!  The items were on easy pay and I should have received $5 each.  So sad that a company as big as the Q will do this to their customers when there are other companies who will ship and accept returns for free.  Rest assured that unless I know that the item will fit and/or I will love it,  I will not be buying from QVC anymore and I have been a customer since 1995.  Your loss, QVC!!!

JeanLouiseFinch is absolutely correct....it was announced, it was all over the website for weeks before it happened, and emails were sent out (though everyone may not have received those).

I never heard it!!!  Where was it posted on the website ?  And they should have  sent customers an e-mail. They send them for everything else. Same with those D*m automatic  easy pays on your Q card! I didn't know untill I got mybill  Smiley Sad

Actually today was the first time I heard them say  $ 8:00 just to try it on at home (good host). If it would have been said that way a long time ago ,maybe I wouldn't have done as much shopping..............lol $8:00 just to try on something.......lol

(p.s... that was not including the shipping)

I went to order some shoes they had on TV tonight and thought maybe I should look at some other stuff to orer while I was online.  And checking the reviews, I realized several notations about their "new" return policy.  Since I do not order a lot, just from time to time, I did not know that things had changed.  I have rarely had to return items to QVC, but it has happened that some products just not not live up to expectations or broke after receipt.  I never had a problem with monies being refunded.  Reading all of this, I have decided I do not wish to order either pair of shoes I was considering.  One of the reasons I didn't mind ordering items, was if I wasn't happy with them, I always knew I could get my money back.  Not because I changed my mind, but because it wasn't what it was supposed to be!  I am not willing to hand over good money for iffy return policies!  So sorry QVC, love you, but you are more like a "BAD BOYFRIEND" taking my money and leaving me with nothing to show for it!  Just can't afford to risk my hard earned money for jump through hoops return policies!  Bu-BYE!

Do not use QVC'S return label.  Take it to the post office yourself, you will pay less to ship it back.  I've learned the hard way.

This is what I too do. I bought a ring that was too small. I wear a size 5 but in summer need a 5 1/2 so had to get a 6. I couldn't even get it on, must have been sized wrong so. I took it to the post office and paid $4.74 to have it sent back, also got a receipt and had it insured for what I paid for it.

THis policy is why I won't buy anything from QVC unless I know, for a FACT, I am keeping it. This means NOTHING new in my world will come from QVC: not a product for my house, body, face, yard, nothing. It's not worth it.

The BIG issue is fit... shoes and clothing do NOT run the same between vendors;  not between styles from the same vendor. I'd love to order the Issac TSV but don't know the size to order and I'm NOT paying $10 or so just to try on a pair of shoes!!

So, I shop elsewhere in those circumstances.

Now, items that are a constant "Ooo, this works" are the ones I wait and watch for with specials, no shipping, etc. That's the beauty of it today; we have so many places to shop and the consumer has the power; don't give it up, lol.

That's why I no longer order from online companies that charge these ridiculous return fees.

They're laughing all the way to the bank.
