My kit arrived and I tried it this morning for the first time. I could have written you post, @Pecky The Cool Beige (22.5) was a little bit of a guess for me, but it's actually probably one of the best foundation shade matches I've had - super happy about that. I like the luminzer too. I'm waiting to try the mascara since I have three different ones open that i've been testing. In a couple of weeks I'll open the RMS (if I can wait that long). The balm, imo, is the worst product in the package. It feels fine but the shade is another nude, death warmed over color that i find unflattering. Like you, I'll wear it around the house and likely put a little tinted gloss over it.

I tried this for the first time. Sadly, mine is going back. I ordered the "buff beige" color and it is too yellow on me. I rarely wear foundation so color matching is difficult for me.

@CANDLEQUEEN Thank you so much for your response re shade choices! I believe having the warm medium #33 will work well for me based on what you said, Ta

@mnmom You might try exchanging for the 22.5/Cool Beige. The color in in the light-medium range, but with a peachy undertone so it's neutral, neither yellow or pink.

@mnmom Hi...I had the same problem and 22.5 was too yellow, almost orange and dark on me. I was going to go w cool Buff BUT now that I read your post that will be out for me too.

@JudyL They also run through the shade descriptions a mile a minute not giving us a chance to decide "well, is that my shade or should I see what she says about the next shade".They need to slow down and give more details. "The Nicole Kidman's of the world" or the ones who burn easily is not enough info. Cool light and medium warm can also burn in the sun. It's a useless comment.

.....not just RMS, I notice this with all foundation presentations on Q. all confusing, even to me, is that each line has different shade descriptions, so it's even more difficult. MAC, IMO, has warm and cool entirely wrong!

Each monitor and TV pic are different...even if you attempt to purchase online, really?Their descriptions many times don't even mention warm, cool or neutral. The fairest Nicole Kidman shades, which I would be, is a cool shade (if they use her as an example) which flips me to the next shade usually fair/light which is warmer and too dark. I'm a fair neutral.

I need to be in store to choose a foundation and I know nowhere where you can see RMS up close and personal. Purchasing several shades and returning some is costly. If I need to do that, it's with a free ship/free return situation.

My BFF received her tsv yesterday in the #33 Warm Beige shade and is thrilled with a perfect match. She wears Ginger in Bare Minerals foundations, both stick and liquid, if this would be helpful for you. She does have an olive undertone but it may be just a bit lighter than how you've described yours. I hope the #33 works well for you too!

@rochelleS @CANDLEQUEEN Thank you both so much for your input! I have received the kit and the #33 medium warm is the right undertone but just a tad too light. I'm able to warm it a bit with bronzer to make it work, but I have ordered on ebay a sample kit of RMS shades to see if either 33.5 or 44 were to work better. Then I can make the decision whether to exchange or not.

@fitfuninformed I am glad you were able to find samples on Ebay-a lot cheaper than exchanging for another color and not knowing if it will work! # 44 is what I ordered which is Medium Honey, and it works perfectly for me.....I think her foundation shades are somewhat forgiving as well.. Let us know which shade you end up with!!!
