@Midmod  Yes indeed- believe me, men who meet me on dates are confused by my 80's references or my 80's aerobics hobby.  Coworkers I had didn't understand why I knew nothing about current pop culture.  I'm pretty eccentric.

Lol@shortyshorty07
Too funny 🤣
I also loved The Go-Gos, The Cars, Pat Benatar, the Eagles, Billy Squier, Fleetwood Mac, ZZ Top, so many 70's groups I can't list them all.
Did you have a family member that loved all that and you grew up around it? That's why my cousin, who is 10 years younger than I am listens to 80's hair bands.
Now every time I see or hear something from then I'll think of you and your solid gold VHS tapes 😁
Have you watched any solid gold episodes on YouTube?

@Midmod  Excellent band choices! Nope, none of my family members were super into the 80's and they're definitely amused by my fixation on the decade Smiley Wink.  I think my aerobics obsession started in my early 20's when I purchased Chippendales Muscle Motion VHS- it was a 1986 VHS tape that featured the hunky Chippendales Dancers leading a 30 minute high intensity aerobics routine.  Once I did the workout I was hooked on aerobic exercise and I went on ebay and purchased a few more tapes- BYU's televized "Hooked on Aerobics", Greg Smithey's "Buns of Steel", Kathy Smith's "Winning Workout" and then over the years its turned into about 100 or so rare and out of print 80's workout tapes.  Smiley LOLHeart

My love for 80's pop culture, music and movies probably started when I first saw Burt Reynolds on TV and when I watched Flashdance on VHS as a teen. I do watch Solid Gold clips on Youtube Smiley Very Happy- I love the coordinated outfits, makeup, hair and inventive dance moves.  I do my own Solid Gold dance workout with my Solid Gold 5 Day workout tape! Sometimes I get too into the Solid Gold Groove and forget how small my living room surroundings are- its all fun and games working on my dance moves until I kick the back of my heel into the sofa or crash my shin into an ottoman Smiley LOL
