HAIR OUT OF CONTROL...NEED SUGGESTIONS

I have a cow lick on one side of my hair, and it sticks straight up. I am trying to grow my hair, so it will lay down, but in the meantime, I need a STRONG hair spray to keep it down . Can someone suggest a hair spray that will stick like glue?

My hair dresser said, I never trained my hair, and that's why it does it. So now, it's my fault. OUCH..lol

Re: HAIR OUT OF CONTROL...NEED SUGGESTIONS

I developed an unruly cowlick during Covid. Since working from home I admit I haven't fussed with my hair each morning like I used to, so hello, dry, frizzy unruly hair.

A deep conditioner/hair mask helps. Strongest hairspray I know is Got2B  Glued Blasting Freeze.

They make a travel size if you want to test it out. Try Ulta or eBay.

Alterna®  makes a "high hold" that makes your hair as hard as a rock.  I use it ONLY if I need to go out in a windstorm...

Freeze It hairspray, in a gold can.  There are a few versions (original, mega hold, color safe, etc.).  Your hair won't budge with this stuff on it.

Do you use a strong gel in your cowlick area? That's what I did. I used Joice extra strong hair gel but there are many strong ones out there.

I developed a cow lick when my hair grew back after my treatments.  I found that Tweak'd  shampoo/conditioner actually helps to tame it.  There is also a  hair spray that works nicely but it doesn't seem to be available at this time.

@Desertdi You are too funny, windstorm, LOL!

@LindaSal    OOPS!     I should have clarified that I live in Phoenix, and we actually DO have windstorms, and occasionally DUST STORMS here.  di

My grandson uses Gorilla Snot gel; your cow lick will surrender.

Try Got2be ultra glue gel. It has serious hold- I mean it!
