Maybe it's just me and maybe this info has always been there.  On the pages where one can scroll all of the different posts, underneath the Community Menu are the headings:

Top Hearted Posts, Top Tags and New Solutions with posts or other info. under each heading.

Is that info. updated every so often?  How is that info. helpful to me?  Thanks!

@Quinny  The tags and top hearted posts have been there pretty much since the forums were updated.  They will update at the appropriate times - ie. if a different thread gets more hearts and replaces a current one.  To me, it's not crucial information but there may be some people out there who only look for certain tags or want to see what the buzz is on the top hearted post.  The new solutions is somewhat recent.  When someone posts a question, they can select the best answer out of all the replies and those are now being listed in the sidebar.  Since the questions (thread titles) are listed, it would be a good place for someone with a question to check before asking themselves since it's possible the answer might already be there.  Truthfully though, I don't see many people using that option.  I think people are more prone just to start a thread and ask rather than check anything first, such as reading the index page or using the search feature.  To me, that's evident by so many of the same kinds of threads starting all the time.
