That is so sad. I remember him saying he had cancer but was doing well. He hadn't been on in a long time and I was wondering if he was ill...He will be missed..May he rest in peace. He was only 66 years old (December 16, 1956 - December 23, 2022).

I've only just logged on here and seen this. I'm shocked. I knew he'd battled cancer, but thought he had gotten through it. Another person lost to pancreatic cancer.

I'm currently reading Alan Rickman's "Diaries" and he also passed away from pancreatic cancer.

Alex Trebek, Patrick Swayze. Too many. Such a horrible disease, with such a low survival rate.

Nick was such a joyful person. Sad for his family and friends.

Michael Landon died of pancreatic cancer after 4 months. That is a dreadful disease.

Rest in peace Nick Chavez🌈. He was so cheerful and a pleasure to watch. Very talented also. My condolences to his family and friends.

OMGosh, this makes me so sad. He was fun to watch, he was funny, and he thoroughly enjoyed his work.

So young. Just had a birthday. 2 days before Christmas. I am so sorry for his family and friends.

There have been so many celebrity deaths recently. It really reminds us of how fleeting and fragile life is. Tomorrow is never promised.

RIP Nick. We will miss you.

This is devastating news, I am so very saddened to hear of Nick's passing. Through his illness he still made occasional appearances and I was hopeful that he was on the mend......very sad news.
