Re: Question for Skinn users

Rebecca ,I have used those 2 retinol products and I liked them well enough. I wanted to try the retinol serum and maybe face cream. I appreciate you getting back w/me.

Re: Question for Skinn users

I have the items in today's value and they are pretty nice. I like his collegenisis line, but I'm 60. I love the skinn cleaners and only use them now. You cannot best his prices and very good ingredients.

Actually, Dr. Graf's retinol line seems to have pretty positive reviews.

That is what I have been reading; it's love or hate. I think I'm going to try the retinol serum.

I turned 60 in June and have very dry, sensitive skin. Had 5 months of chemo in 2012 so had some issues with that whole "adventure". But I have great skin too; no horrible lines or wrinkles or pores to speak of. I recently started using the Clarisonic about 1 month ago and have noticed a big difference in how my skincare products go on and are used by my skin. I also use Skinn skincare and LOVE them. I think you have to have a very clean palet (your skin) to allow the products to do their thing. Seems like I use less and see more results.

Hi, wagirl. I'm glad to hear you love the Skinn line -- that boosts my confidence in ordering. I tried the Clarisonic several years ago and oh boy -- my skin did NOT like it! I began to peel; and peel; and peel; and peel. At first I thought, "Oh, goody! This is getting rid of dead skin!" Then as the peeling continued, I decided it was not helping my skin but harming it. I'm probably the only person in the country who didn't like the Clarisonic for that reason!

I don't wear make-up except for a tinted sunscreen moisturizer, undereye concealer, and mascara, so perhaps the Clarisonic was too much for me.

Thanks again for the Skinn recommendation!

Rebecca J

That very thing happened to me too!!!! And that was a few years ago and I also poo-pooed the Clarisonic. But......now I use the brush for sensitive skin and try not to put too much pressure on it and move it around and also use it every other day and I think that is working well for me. But I really do love Skinns skincare, not a huge fan of the make up tho, EXCEPT for his mascara that finally made my skimpy lashes look full. Chemo zapped them too and still have issues there. The cleansers and dermapeal and the skin softening waters are to die for. Also love the 24 hour moisture balm too. Would like to try the orchid gel but may wait until his anniversary show next month and maybe there will be some real deals. Hope you jump in and try something. Can't beat the 6 value pays to try something!!!

Re: Question for Skinn users

I haven't had any problems with the products in the Skinn line, but I haven't seen any amazing results either. I have gone back to my other products that work just as well. I will continue to buy his orchid gel & flawless compact though.

I have found personally, that anything with an instant lift mechanism pulls & crinkles on my normal skin he has made it a point that it is for oily skin

ITA... I have used these lifts and they are not very moisturizing. He makes excellent products for your dry skin...so please don't judge his other products based on this kit. The Collagenisis line is more suited for dry skin. Amazing stuff! HTH

{#emotions_dlg.thumbup} I agree! I highly recommend this too. It is Collagenesis 24 hr. Youth Preservation Cream. I only use this in winter and at night. If you have dry sensitive skin, you could use this year round.

I use the Creme Reverse in the summer and during the day in winter.

I agree, if you have very dry skin, this is the product for you. I use only in the Winter because I have oily combo skin which I use the creme reverse line on a daily basis. His products work very well for many of us.Smiley Happy
