Question about packaging?

I just bought the Snow Angel shower gel and lotion combo. Love the scent by the way!

My question is the plastic bottle is so hard that when I try to squeeze it with my hand to get the lotion out I get almost nothing. I have to use both hands and then where do I squeeze it to?

Is it just me? What am I missing?
