Question about ebates please???

This will probably sound stupid, but how does it work and can you order anything say from qvc through ebates and still get the discount or ebate? What do you do with the ebate dollars you earn? Is it only for there site or do you get a check? Thank you

for beauty products - I am 54, blue eye's, very fair. Skin is normal, but prone to eczema patches.
