Q Shipping - Why, why why

So I ordered two sets of the B&B eyeliner pencils and one set of the lipsticks. On the same day, from the same show. They shipped and silly me, I didn't pay a bunch of attention, just got the email that they had shipped. Well I checked today, and the three items all shipped separately! What possesses the Q to do things like that? They must have their reasons, but this is 3 items from the same vendor in the same order. They couldn't put them in one padded envelope?

Sorry, I know there's nothing new here, but it seriously makes me crazy!
