@SurferWife wrote:@Tantallum...it's called glazing & there are several ways to fix it. I have found this should be done after every use and it will have a long life afterwards.
Glazing is caused by our moisturizer getting onto our brushes then transferred onto the foundation.
1) Using scotch tape lay the sticky side down directly onto the glazed portion of your Celbration Foundation and rub gently then lift off tape ( like you do to neatly remove price on a gift). The glazing sticks to the tape and reveals fresh new foundation. You'll need several strips to get it all, but gosh it works; OR
2) Use and eyebrow brush (like on the opposite end of the eyebrow pencil) and GENTLY scrape until all the glazed foundation is removed. Blow off excess to reveal fresh new foundation.
I prefer #1 because it the cleaner of the 2 methods. Your Celebration Foundation will be saved!!!'

@SurferWife - Thanks for the info. I am having the same problem and thought I would have to throw away half the product. I'll give this a try. But, like others have said, we should not have to do it.

@Tantallum - I'm glad you posted this because I am having the same problem. I thought it was just my compact. I'm going to try the tape and see how that works.

Surferwife, thanks for the scotch tape trick. I'm going to try it right away.

Sunshine45 I totally agree with you are the TSV compact foundation. I love the ease of appicatiion. I have every It foundation and I really love this one. It is so much easier to apply. I am glad I did auto.

Thank you for naming this problem and also giving us a tip as to how to get rid of the problem! I've actually had this happen to other products (different manufacturers) so I knew it wasn't the product itself.... and generally thought it had to be moisture causing this.

This happens to me as well, on every Celebration Foundation and LG compact foundation I use. I would absolutely point to the moisturizer, or in my case the IT CC CREAM, as the cause of this caking because that product takes forever to dry down. I don't have the patience (or time) to wait half an hour for it to set, so I apply my foundation within 10 minutes. I just scrape it off once in a while when it cakes up, and move on. I am not changing the CC Cream out nor the LG or IT foundations, so this is the situation I have set for myself to deal with.

I had this same problem with a Celebration Compact I had purchased in a TSV... it was over 6 months before I had opened the compact to use it, since I had another to finish first. But, I contacted Customer Service for iT Cosmetics and the sent me a replacement, all I had to do was email them my original receipt.... She did say it may be from not allowing enough time between applying my morning skin care and then my foundation. Hope this is helpful.

Yep, always excuses and never an actual solution to the true problem.
