I finally purchased some PTR Retinol PM, after seeing in QVC for years. So far so good, except that I find it tricky to actually apply it to my face. How do others do it?
I have tried putting a drop here and there directly on my face using the eyedropper and then rubbing it in before it drips off my face. I've tried putting a drop or two on my fingertip and quickly getting it to my face. I've even tried how I've seen them do it on TV where they put the drops in their hands and then press onto the face, but it seems to me most of the product absorbs into my hands before getting to my face.

I used to use this product. I remember liking it. I put 3-4 drops on my fingers, tap my fingers around my face, and then using my fingers spread and massage it into my face. I add a drop of everything I put on my face so there is enough for the back of my hands.

I applied it to my face just as any serum, even bought the super size as a body serum , did nothing either place, .Looks like water and performs no better than water.

I did it exactly like @monicakm .

I've used this product for the past 5 or so years, everyday. It has lightened the dark spots I was getting and has kept my face from wrinkling in my opinion. I'm 85 and people think I'm several years younger.
To apply, I pour some into the palm of one hand and spread on my face with the other. I rub the remaining onto the back of my hands. Let whats on my face absorb for a few minutes and done.
I love this product and will always use it. It isn't an instant gratification product, but long term results if you stick with it.

His is on of the top retinols on the market. I use it on my neck, chest, hands, and forearms. I really like it.

I use his retinol every evening. I put a dropper full in my hand, rub the hands together, and then pat/spread it all over my face, neck, and chest area. I finish up by rubbing what is left on my hands onto the BACK of the hands and both arms.
I love his product as it goes on easily and gives me better results than using Tretinoin. I switched back and forth, one year the retinol and the next year the Tretinoin, and by far the results on my skin were better with Peter Thomas Roth's product. You would think it would be the other way around, but not on my skin.
I like getting his big bottle that QVC usually sells for around $100 once a year, as I like to cover more of my body than just the face.

I have gotten his mega sized bottles for as low as $40 on ebay.

I am now using Consult Beaute Regenerol Retinol, it is 3% encapsulated retinol, twice as potent at PTR, a very nice lotion/gel consistency, I really like it. This is the concentrated serum, there is also a cream to go over it that is 1%

@IdahoGram. Like you, I have used PTR's serum for a long time. I apply it much like you do, and often layer another serum on top before I apply my night cream. I think my skin is in pretty good shape for my age.
