Better yet - who goes around looking at other other people's feet and then comes online and writes about it?

Anyone know its name? And please, if you are not going to wear polish on your tootsies and your nails look dingy, yellow and yucky, and you can't get them to look clean, you can buy a powder that you put into warm water and dip your toes into, and they will bring your toenails back to the pretty white they should be!
I also know there is also a way to do it at home, probably with hydrogen peroxide and baking powder, I'm guessing?
There's one called Bubble White, sold at Sally Beauty Supply. I personally haven't tried it because I keep polish on all the time. It does have great reviews. http://www.sallybeauty.com/5-Minute-Nail-Cleaner/ORGNLS1,default,pd.html
Every couple months I sand them with this and it takes off the stains from polish; http://www.sallybeauty.com/Yellow-Finishing-Block/SBS-203014,default,pd.html

Any good endocrinologist will advise their patients that taking care of their feet is paramount for their health. Nail salons know nothing about diabetic foot care.On 5/7/2014 Perkup said:First let me say I don't care if people polish their nails or not, it makes no impact in my life. But your toenails will not turn yellow if you use a base coat. And if you are diabetic and can't go to a salon (I have never heard this before) paint your nails at home. Takes 15 minutes and polish is super cheap.I'm just curious - where is it written that everyone must polish their toe nails? I don't recall seeing it in the Bible or in any fashion publication. Do it if you like, but no one has to do that. Polish on toenails often leads to them turning yellow.
And I couldn't agree more with Happy Housewife. I am diabetic, and my counselor has said for years to stay away from pedicures. Both the germs and the possibility of even a small injury are reason enough to care for your own nails. And don't forget it's important to keep your own implements clean and germ free before using.
I am also diabetic and it is my understanding that if you have this medical condition, insurance will cover seeing a podiatrist to have nails trimmed. Mine does.
I'm lucky because my podiatrist goes beyond just trimming nails. I start with placing my feet in a whirlpool for 15 minutes (softens the nails to make cutting easier). She also uses a scalpel to scrape on calluses. When she is done, her assistant comes in and finishes filing the nails with a dremel and working to get rid of dead skin on my heels. She ends by rubbing my feet down with cream. My tootsies feel fabulous!!!!
Of course, a podiatrist will also check the pulses in your feet if you are diabetic. Once a year she tests to see if my toes or the bottom or top of my feet are losing sensation.
If you're diabetic, please see a podiatrist. It's just as important as having a regular eye exam.

i think there should be a state ordinance in the sun shine states….where we wear open toe shoes 90% of the time. if a women can not keep the color up then she should take it off and keep the toes cut and clean. most salons will do a polish change and clean up for about 8-10 dollars. I'm going in tomorrow for a color change on my sweet little piggies…$7.00

I've decided that my feet no longer look good in sandals. I wear closed toe shoes. I love clogs, like Easy Spirit shoes that are great for walking but are available in tons of colors. Clarks has nice clogs also.
I do need to work on my heels. I use my Emjoi and I should start applying more lotion.
I don't see toes so much as heels when people wear sandals. (Guess I'm behind them) I don't like heavily callused heels. They also tend to look dirty, whether they are or not.
*runs to get Emjoi*
