I got sucked into the presentations and bought multiple of the body creams despite never trying the Perlier. I really have to say that Chip’s marketing really just sucks you in. I feel like their descriptions of the scents were pretty spot on unlike some other presenters.
Here are my thoughts on the scents I purchased:
Double Latte- accurate description of a “baby powder” smell. I actually thought it was the strongest scent and I could smell it on me throughout the day. However, this scent was not for me so I will return it.
Imperial Honey- I almost did not purchase the scent because the presenters kept mentioning that it smelled like “cloves”, yet they kept saying it smelled “sensual”. I bought this scent because of the popularity that they had mentioned and I am SO glad I did. The scent is very unique. It smells sweet like honey, but also sort of citrusy and I can’t really pinpoint the other notes of this scent but I love it. I get whifs of it throughout the day. This was my favorite.
Golden Almond- This one smelled exactly like Amanda had described. It smells very floral- white floral-ish to be exact. Although the smell is strong, when you initially put it on, it had the least staying power on me. I would say it is a very pretty scent, but it just was too white floral for me, which is why I am returning it.
With the free shipping today, I purchased the Olivarium and Pomegranate options too.
I I am not interested in the White Almond because they described the scent as “marzipan”, which I am not a fan of.
I am very impressed with the packaging. The packaging is not cheap, and the tubs are filled to the brim. I also feel like the Body butters are very high-quality, I don’t know if it has to do with them being an Italian brand (which is why I was intrigued to buy) but so far they feel very moisturizing and absorb well.
I have tried the philosophy body soufflé along with the Josie Maran body butters, and I feel like Perlier is much superior.
