@nyc1  I also prefer a sheer red. With red, I do use a lip pencil to line first. I need a warm red, not a blue red.

@Enufstuff   I always used to go for a blue red,  and RMS showed me that I could also wear warm reds as well.  The Crimson Lane balm is definitely warm and has no blue in it.  I was shocked by how much I love it.  

My cousin could not find a red that she liked,  and wasn't sure she could wear one.  She too used to love a warm red when she was younger.  I sent her the Crimson Lane and she called screaming how much she loves the touch of color.  She said it gives her the pop of color she needed without being over the top.  You can apply as sheer or not as you like.
