Re: Paula's Choice Discontinuing Two Lines

I feel held hostage. Nothing else has worked as well as Paula's Choice for my skin so even though the company is irritating me with the smaller containers, price increases, discontinuing classics, etc. I still keep purchasing.

If I end up using the new stinky Calm toner in place of the Hydralight then we will know how bad I have it lol

I went to Paula's site and noticed the Earth Sourced kit is $14.45 for full size cleanser, toner, and moisturizer.

Is this line good for dry skin?

Paula's site says that it is good for all skin types. The products may not  be as hydrating as a product made for dry skin, but it should not be too drying.

I've tried samples of it and I didn't find it was enough for my dry skin. It is a nice line though. No sunscreen product either.

RipleyGirl, I don't know if this will work for you but in the summer I can use products that I can't use in the winter. I live in NC and it is so humid here that I can get by wtih a lot less moisture, I thought maybe I would suggest that because this is a great price.

Re: Paula's Choice Discontinuing Two Lines

@MissSugarKane, I checked the reviews for the toners (both for oily skin and the one for drier skin). There are only 12 reviews in total so far. Only one mentions a fishy odor. One other says something about a slightly unpleasant scent that dissipates quickly. No other mention of any scent.

I've used cosmetic and skincare products that others have reviewed negatively because of an odor but which I can barely, if at all, detect what they're talking about.

So personally I wouldn't let a couple reviews stop me from trying it.

Re: Paula's Choice Discontinuing Two Lines

I thought I read two reviews saying it smelled. I will give it a try once they have samples because I am definitely curious. I just have a feeling the smell will bother me because while I like the Skin Balancing cleanser more than the Hydralight I could never use the SB because of the weird smell to it. I never saw anyone else mention the smell but it made me gag.

Yes, @MissSugarKane, I mentioned two in my post.
