Even tho I'm sure it's beautiful on some, it looks ugly to me (and I love my red wine!). I don't own anything in this color and I won't go out and buy anything in this color.

Let me ask this: When the color of the year is announced, do you feel you need to buy new clothes in that color?

Well, the color does work for me in a shirt or jacket, but I'm not running off to the store to buy one. The color selected will dictate what colors do show up in the stores, so be prepared to see a lot of Marsala colored everything. Don't know who outside of the Bride of Dracula can wear the color on the eyes; maybe someone really young, they seem to be able to wear just about any color and make it work. I miss young.

I already have a few tops in this color which I LOVE. Am looking for some leggings in this color too, as my sweaters and tops are long enough to cover my caboose. No I don't rush right out to buy anything when a color is announced, but I do like a few pieces and maybe a purse too. This color will look great with all the neutrals which I have and remember, there are varying shades of this color, so if this one doesn't suit you there will be another one that will.

I agree with others- clothes in this color (or a Mustang!) yes but on eyes or lips, no. There are very few people who could pull it off. Most will look like they have an allergy or are sick. Not a good look.

I think it is an awful sort of dead looking color. It won't be in my closet next year. It reminds me of the awful 80's.

It's the first Pantone color of the year I've liked in a while. I think it will look great in lipsticks and nail polish. Wouldn't necessarily use it in my house. The last Pantone color I loved was Turquoise! I painted my laundry room a beautiful turquoise color, and even though I HATE doing laundry, I love going into my laundry room!
