Getting annoyed w/ Philosophy's ploy to make more $ by putting bath gel w/ lotion, 3 Purities, etc. They make it more expensive to buy 1 item when that's all I need.

I've been purchasing my Philosophy on their site & avoiding the Q for that reason.

I agree.  I also wish they would sell more reasonable sizes.  Is it really necessary to buy shower gel in the half gallon size.

Re: PHILOSOPHY "BUNDLING"

[ Edited ]

I too am discouraged at ALL the large sizes that QVC wants to force us to buy, so I have gone elsewhere to purchase Philosophy, I can find the smaller sizes, I can get free shipping, and I have also found scents that the Q does not offer!

The goal of some previous head honcho was to increase the unit price shipped.  The theory was it costs as much to process a $20.00 order as it does a $100.00 order.  Yes, they are right.  As a result I think I've had only one of their $150.00 "bundled" offerings in the past several years.  My smaller Philosophy purchases have come from Sephora (free flash shipping) or Ebay.  God bless those people who break down and sell TSV's on Ebay.

@ShanusWhen I need/want only one, I don't buy Costco or Amazon or the Q for the most part.  But I have to say, I do in the long run get a better buy from all of them than from buying everything one at a time for anything I'll actually use.

My best buys over the last several years at the Q (that would be since I almost totally stopped buying jewelry anywhere) are for skincare and the Q is way ahead of any other place I could buy, but I have no interest in even one shower gel and I love getting a deal on Purity when I need cleanser.

Other than that, my best deals right now are bundles -- from Philosophy, from Perricone, and from Peter Thomas Roth.  I don't even have to watch for a while because what I'm using I love and it's all on AD.  Years ago I probably chased newer, but not any more.  Now I buy what works for me already and I try to save by using every drop of what I pay for.

I'm for bundles -  just have no desire to buy all of them.

The brick and mortar sizes of purity and the various bath gels and lotions, i.e. 8 oz and 16 oz., ARE available here - you just have to look for them.  They retail here at the same cost as in those stores.  The "bundles" as you refer to them as are values to those who use and purchase.  You simply need to do the math.

I agree....soon I'll need a new Purity but I don't want to buy two huge and one medium size.  But that Q bundle is the best price...it would take me years to finish those off!  Will look around other sites but may come back to the Q...

I usually don't mind when larger sizes/bundled items are offered if they are a good price/value and they are items that I want/need. But sometimes I do have a little buyers remorse....I have been staring at my 64 ounce of Honey and Cream and wishing it would go away, lol.

But I think that QVC is listening to the folks who are asking for smaller sizes/individual items.

Here are a few new items listed:

A357828
philosophy shampoo, bath, and shower gel, 8 oz
A357814
philosophy amazing grace firming body emulsion,8 oz

A357804
philosophy 3-in-1 shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath, 16 oz

Regarding shower gels, I don't like anything larger than the 16 oz.  I like a variety of scents and rotate so I have many open.  It would take me years to finish some of the sizes they offer.     I wish they would offer more of Baby Grace and not in the giant sizes.  Paired with the lotion is fine--16 oz. of each would be good.
