Purple, a few months ago, PayPal sent users an email notifying them that their site was hacked and asked people to change their passwords.

I thought that was ebay. I had to change my ebay password but I never got anything from paypal.

I never got anything from PayPal either, and I didn't hear about anything on the news about PayPal, only eBay.

I didn't receive anything from PayPal either. Just EBay.

On thing to note with Bill Me Later/PayPal Credit is that there is no credit card associated with your line of credit. It's a line of credit to use exclusively for online purchases. You don't get a nifty piece of plastic when you open a Bill Me Later account that you can use in the local stores.

I've been using Bill Me Later for the last 3 years and I really like 6, 12, 18 months same as cash offers that many vendors offer. That's how me and the DH bought our last 2 computers.

Thank you, kjohnson for that info. I have wondered about that feature. Does it take 6 months to fill out the forms? Lol

I have had PayPal for over 10 years now. Almost everyone I shop from offers it now.

You're welcome... It's super quick and easy....almost too easy! Smile I got approved and used immediately when I was checking out at hp.com.

Other than ebay, the only time I've used PayPal with a merchant is because I was too lazy to fill out all the payment info. I guess I'm missing the point of using it with retailers you are already registered with.

OOOPS! You are both correct!

The email came from eBay and it was on their website as well. I changed my passwords with all three companies.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.
