I don't believe I have ever seen a discussion on this. I am noticing that more and more online vendors are offering the choice of using PAYPAL as the payment option. I wonder why QVD does not offer this?

Why is this subject in the Beauty section?

What difference does it make. If you do not want to read it skip over. It clearly states the tittle as being PAYPAL.

I say this because it annoys me when people have this complaint. If the tittle would have been I have a question about..... and you have to open to see what the person wants, that's different.

Kay, Bill Me Later is an online credit card.

When you apply, you are given a credit line. BML can be used at various vendors, however, not everyone accepts it. Like a credit card, you can make a minimum payment and your balance will accrue interest. If you pay your balance in full by the due date, you are not charged interest.

Some vendors offer no interest for 6 months, or no payments for 3 months, etc. QVC doesn't offer anything.

They are owned by Pay Pal.

thanks honny....that is exactly correct.....it is online credit offered by paypal. they are actually now changing the name to paypal credit.

here is the online information and application.

I LOVE Paypal and have noticed a lot of vendors offering its use. I sell on eBay and have a PP account and love using my own money for the stuff I want.

I have been using PayPal for the past 10years and my experience has been good for the most part. I've never had a problem using it for ebay. I do have a problem that Paypal require you to connect it with a bank account.

I did get hacked 2 weeks ago and PayPal was quick to recover my money but now I'm really uncomfortable I got hacked--- when you buy something with paypal it takes you from the retailer's webpage to a separate paypal page where you login to paypal and approve the purchase, apparently the paypal page I was sent to wasn't secure so my password was stolen and then they stole money from me later (thank you paypal for demanding my bank account be connected!! so helpful to thieves!).

Sunshine45, you are very welcome! And thank you for posting the application site and additional information...I didn't know BML was being renamed.

Purple, a few months ago, PayPal sent users an email notifying them that their site was hacked and asked people to change their passwords.

They do use paypal. That is what billmelater is.

BML and Paypal are not the same thing. BML is a Paypal company but BML is a credit card. There is a credit limit you will be assigned with BML, a credit check is run for BML and if you don't pay the balance in full, interest will accrue.

Paypal can be linked to your bank account and the money comes right out rather than going on a credit account.

HSN accepts Paypal but you have to be careful. I ordered something using Paypal and it set up a different account for me but I didn't know that. When I tried to check my order status, the order wasn't showing up at all even though the money came out of my PP account. I called HSN and the CS rep. couldn't find my order, told me there was no Paypal linked to my account and that I hadn't placed any orders on the day I said I did.

I ended up filing a complaint with Paypal over it because I wasn't getting my order when it finally showed up on my doorstep. I had to call HSN CS for something last week and she explained to me what had happened and deleted the secondary account, had to link my order to my regular account and I changed the payment type (this was a flexpay order) to a different payment method.

If you have the Pay Pal debit card with the master card logo, you can use it. Just use as you would MC i use it all the time on QVC.

On thing to note with Bill Me Later/PayPal Credit is that there is no credit card associated with your line of credit. It's a line of credit to use exclusively for online purchases. You don't get a nifty piece of plastic when you open a Bill Me Later account that you can use in the local stores.

I've been using Bill Me Later for the last 3 years and I really like 6, 12, 18 months same as cash offers that many vendors offer. That's how me and the DH bought our last 2 computers.
