Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore shampoo

[ Edited ]

Reawakens the hair to its glossiest, healthiest prime.  8.5 oz. for $49.  It was given 4.5 stars.  Especiallhy for color treated and/or damaged hair.  Would you pay $49 for shampoo?

Since my hair is long past it's prime and I really don't want to wake it up 🧑🏻‍🦳 Have to pass.

@Katcat1 It might reawaken my hair but would surely kill my pocketbook!

No, I wouldn't pay that much, especially for a little more than a cup of shampoo!

Yes I would if my hair was in need and it was suggested by my hairdresser. Then I would buy directly from the Oribe site.

Re: Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore shampoo

My hair tends to flatten and get frizzy when I am outside.  My granddaughter had an outdoor wedding and reception, and after a ton of research I bought a very small can of Oribe Impermeable Anti-Humidity Spray.  It was $22 for a very small spray can....but boy, did it work!  My hair did not frizz at all...which has never happened for me before when outdoors for any length of time.  I will always keep this on hand now.

Knowing how well the spray worked, if I had damaged hair I would be willing to spend the $ to try Oribe's shampoo.

I use this line for color treated hair. Worth it! Smells divine. My hair is baby fine so can’t wash too often, only use a tiny bit so bottle lasts forever. My hair is in such good condition for my senior years. I think using best products really helps.

Oribe has beautiful products, albeit, expensive! I only use it when I'm in the salon for color &/or cut. Too expensive. I have bought their hair spray for frizzy hair. My hair gets frizzy in fog, humidity & their spray works. It's great. $22 is about right for a small bottle.

@HB glamma Do you use the conditioner also?

@Katcat1   That seems quite high for shampoo, but it's a prestige salon brand. If someone wants to spend that much, it's on their card, not mine.

I've spent $30 for Moroccan Oil S&C and I thought that was about my limit.
