Re: October Scents and Common Sense - Welcome!

Desi, wow, that much rain. I thought when they said we may have an inch that is a lot but only got a few drizzles. They do want more Saturday but only 1/2 an inch at most so, nothing much for us and we do really need it. Hope a doctor can do something for you to help and get rid of the pain etc.

With Two and a half men there were the 3 stars but with Castle, his name is the title and don't know what they could do with that. All it says is his contract is up this year and he hasn't decided what to do since nothing was mentioned to him yet or so he says and said he doesn't know about another season till he hears what they have to say I guess and does sort of sound like he wants more money, to me anyway it sounds like this but who knows, will see at the end of either this season or if they bring it back or not next season. I like the show. I like several of the new shows.

pepesmom, yes, do feel better just a stuffy nose now so not getting the flu shot till that is cleared. I got DH in Ulta twice but no more, waits in the car when I go in now if he is with me and lately I can't get out without him since all this happened. I don't know what it is but he was never like this before, would stay home if I went shopping. Sounds like you sniffed some decent ones till they dried down anyway. This happens so often, smells great when I first put it on than it either fades in less than 15 to 30 minutes or it stinks in that time. Hope you are feeling better.

Glad Pepe got an okay checkup, Mickey was there Monday, took him off Iverhart Max and put him on Revolution for heartworm plus fleas ticks etc, does it all once a month and didn't make him sick like the Iverhart Max which he threw up within 30 minutes of me giving it to him so what was the sense of that, wasting money but so far this seems okay. He gets the one for dogs 5 to 10 lbs.

Karmuda, sure hope you feel better soon, so much stuff going around this time of year.

just got back from DH eye doctor appointment so should start to think about going to bed I guess.

Re: October Scents and Common Sense - Welcome!

Doglover, it finally stopped raining. Wasn't raining very hard but did rain lightly on and off today.

I couldn't handle DH being around me 24/7 and pretty sure he'd feel the same.

Picked up the hair-color at CVS, thanks for reminding us.

I can think of ways to continue Castle but it probably wouldn't last. The rest of the force and Kate could solve crimes and continue with the "what would castle think" theme. Or have Alexis and his mom team up to help Kate, that would be cute for at least a few episodes. They could pretend Castle was on the phone or something to keep him in the picture without being there.

Some new shows on tonight but nothing looks like it will be all that great IMO.

Thanks Desi and doglover, sometimes it's the anxiety and worrying about the health issues that gets the better of me, and I 'close-up' and don't feel like interacting much.

I'll try and check in from time to time, and I'm sending good thoughts and wishes to you guys as well.

Take care

Re: October Scents and Common Sense - Welcome!

Desi, yes, could say he was out of town, book signing around the country or went missing somehow? I am sure they could work around it for at least a full season than he may get the message they could do without him and come back, will have to wait and see how this season goes I guess.

We really need rain, suppose to rain Saturday but only a little drizzle in the morning.

Karmuda, think we all get like that, know I do once in awhile when things get a bit overwhelming. Just take care, pop in wherever you feel like it. DH has some health issues now and isn't in the best of moods right now.

Re: October Scents and Common Sense - Welcome!

Doglover, between just the 2 of us we figured out how to continue the show so, ITA, could certainly be done if the writers want to. They could introduce a hunky new detective/romantic interest for Kate, and there you go. She never wanted to be married anyway. I can't even remember, are they married?

Glad you and DH are so compatible, that's truly rare.

Re: October Scents and Common Sense - Welcome!

Desi, no they didn't get married so they can do anything they want now with the show and a hunky now detective sounds good to me too. I am sure they would be able to continue with good writers, script and actors.

pepesmom, hope you and DH had a nice dinner.

starting to drizzle here now but want it to stop by 1 PM Sunday and be cool, 60 for a high and want in the 30's the next 2 nights, low 60's for a high for the weekend and upper 60's by Monday than we should be back to more normal, around 70 for the rest of the week.

Re: October Scents and Common Sense - Welcome!

Doglover, I remember when Kate got the gown, all the prep etc., then can't remember is she was kidnapped or what and didn't remember if they were married after that. I haven't been able to see it this season since they placed it against something else I watch.

It is a very good thing you guys are so sympatico. if we didn't have a basement (man-cave floor) one of us would have been outta here long ago, probably me!
