I had other plans but thought about this yesterday while watching the Kansas City Chiefs lose to the Detroit Lions... who saw that coming? 😳

Lions fans did! It was all anyone talked about today! Funny thing about lions fans...they are some hearty fans! First win of the season and people are talking about super bowl. Gotta love it! I thought about you when I was watching the game. I was watching the game and tennis! I was exhausted after watching both sports! Lol

It's called the Superbowl Hangover.  After about the first 10 minutes I saw KC struggle.  Not surprised at all.

It was a great game!  So glad the Lions won.  Thought about you @monicakm and knew that you wouldn't be happy with the outcome.  It's the start of the season so there is plenty of time for KC to come back.

@Franklinbell It was a great game and even though I am a semi fan of Kansas City because I lived next door to Steve Spagnolo, the defensive coach,  I was friends with his sister Donna and we all went to the same high school/rode the bus in our little town. I was happy that Detroit won.  They played a great game. I also like Patrick but it is nice if others win. 

I live in Jacksonville Jaguars territory and I am a big Jaguars fan, we have a great team this year and they are also talking Superbowl. Watch out! I can't wait for the first game on Sunday. We won all 3 pre-season games.

@conlt don't you just love football! I'm a die hard steelers fan! However, I have so many friends that are lions fans that I'm always glad when they can cheer for the lions! I have a friend that has been a season ticket holder forever! I have been to many a home game because of him. 😊 good luck to your jaguars!

@Franklinbell I do love football. I follow a few teams actually. The Jaguars, Kansas City, Patriots. I will be watching the Colts this year too because our former quarterback Gardner Minshew is with them and I wish him well. I am looking forward to the games Sunday.

I've read all the comments but not feeling well tonight. Will reply tomorrow, but, I just wanted to suggest that all of us football gals should get our team's logos/colors painted on our toenails this season. You can go to Pinterest for ideas. It looks like the Chiefs' logo on the picture I included is a decal but I'm going to a new salon next month and I think they have the talent to paint it.

I saw it coming when the game started. KC didn't look right. My team plays Sunday, but I wanted the Lions to win. In many cases I want the underdog to win. 

Monicakm, it should make you feel better that they expect Travis Kelce to be back week 2.
