I need advice on maybe using false eye lashes. I am 76 and because of medications I have taken over the years my eye lashes have either fallen out or broken off over time. I have tried mascaras that say will add length but if nothing is there to lengthen it doesn't work.
I don't want to look ridiculous but I feel naked without lashes.
Are there any you recommend and are easy to apply?
ETA: Cost is an issue really can't afford more than a box at the drug store or Amazon.

Have you considered lash extensions? Might be a better choice for you.

You can get very small individual lashes.... you should look for shops that do threading they offer the service at a reasonable price. I am considering it...it's just that I don't go that many places to look .....extraordinary but as the saying goes..... why just look ordinary.

@ECBG Most brides put on their own lashes after I do the shadow, liner, etc. I guess it's too frightening to have someone up that close with a tweezers. most seem to use Ardell and I know they use a glue w/ a dark or sheer color. They bring their own snipped to the correct size.

@monicakm Thank you so much. This is exactly the information I was looking for. I'll go this weekend and look at them.

@monicakm Thanks again for the info. I didn't make it to the drugstore yesterday, my RA had other ideas and ended up in the bed most of the day. I looked at the Kiss and the Ardell lashes at the grocery store today boy are there a lot to look through..One question, do any of them come with the glue or do I need to buy that separate. I tried to read the box to find out but didn't have my readers with me.

@grandma2pkmh I've used Ardell lashes since I was 18.
They are very natural looking and callled "demi pixies 102" in black. They are very natural looking. I get them on Amazon as drugstores do not carry these. They carry mostly the heavier ones.
At amazon when you look them up you get a pack of 4 for about $11.00 or so.
I use DUO clear eyelash adhesive. It only takes a bit and I run it around the eyelash line with the tip of the Duo open top. Plus you fit them for your eye. You can always cut one lash off the end if the eye is smaller/
It takes a bit of learning but I do it in 30 seconds. Placing them properly is key to look natural.
The glue dries quickly so place as quick as you can.

Here's a picture of mine. the demi pixies are very light and on the natural side. They are not flappers.
