Courtney's looked similar to this. I didn't like it at first, but it's beginning to grow on me (pardon the pun, lol).

No half moon here, but this one caught my attention. It's cute, but not for me!

I'm a polish addict and always have my fingers and toes done.  I do not like this manicure at all.  Then again I am very fussy about French manicures (so many look dated to me) and I hate French pedicures.

I do look the shape and length of the nails pictured.

It is called a moon manicure and became popular several years ago after one of the designers had the models sporting it on the runway.  I think it originally started in the 30's.  Not a fan of the dated, traditional, french pink/white style but love the unique color combinations especially with dark colors and metallics.  Google moon manicure to get lots of pictures.

The half moon or moon manicure is when the moon is one color and the rest of the nail is another. She mentioned that Courtney had the moon AND the tips painted white.. This has also been around for several years, but I don't know if it has a special name. They're all really just modified French Manicures.
