Need some help in the styling area

Okay anyone with experience I need some help. Love Wen..it has transformed my hair, will never go back. However... I'm having serious issues with the curl I blow dry in my hair staying all day. If you go on youtube you can find a couple vids done by Chaz's hairstylist Anna Lee. I'm doing it exactly the same way she is and the curl will not stay in longer than 2 hours. I have used the brush and twisted the curl around my finger letting it set for 30 mins. I have used hair rollers to set it. I use the styling creme and the voluminzing spray. My hair is very coarse and think..I really don't want to go back to using a curing iron everday. I've tried letting it air dry and I'm not a fan of my hair since my heart surgery. Any other suggestions on how to keep this curl in??
