I am 64 and need a concealor for dark circles. I have always had them, so not medical. I wear a tinted moisturiser. Thanks for any advice.

I am almost 74 and have similar dark circle issue which got darker over time. After my moisturizer, I use a small pointed brush to apply IT Bye Bye Undereye concealer: I place a very tiny amount on my hand to warm it and then the brush to do the entire eye area.
It goes on smoothly when warmed. It blends perfectly with the rest of my face...sometimes I skip the CC cream foundation totally. I never use eyeshadow because the matte color also serves as shadow.
If if you apply it sparingly, it will not settle into lines and wrinkles. This works for me...hope you find the best product for yourself.

Bobbi Brown corrector. Not cheap but I have a drawer full of cheap concealers that are just so-so

I have darkness in the inner corners and a little bit of dark circles. I found Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer to work the best for me. Don't be fooled by the name or the low price of this concealer. It is very highly rated everywhere it's sold. Comes in several shades. Comes with a sponge-tip applicator on a twist-up vial. But my recommendation is to just remove that sponge tip...pulls right off. Then use your own favorite brush or whatever. The product has the consistency of a thicker liquid foundation, does not settle and has a nice satiny finish which is not drying so it won't make you look older. You don't need a setting powder...but it does help if you have oily skin around the eye area.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer - $6 to $8

I use Cle Du Peau . It runs around $70 but it lasts a long time and works wonders for me. Available at Nordstrom, Saks.

@Fionna I use IT Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer. I need only a very tiny amount, spread it with my finger and then blend with a blending sponge.

@SilleeMee Glad to see you post this!! A few months ago you mentioned this product on another thread and I bought it and WOW!!!
Thank you so much!!! This product covers my age spots on my forehead, mutes wrinkles under my eyes, and covers any redness anywhere. I did remove the sponge tip and it works wonderfully.
This product has been a game changer for me ![]()

You're welcome
@namaste000 I'm happy to see the Maybelline works for you, too. I found out about it here on this beauty forum many months ago and it's become a staple in my makeup stash ever since.

Sephora is now carrying a nice line of Jouer cosmetics. Their concealer is getting rave reviews. Right now many of the shades are selling out. It has 24 hour wear. You may want to give this line a try once the shades come back in stock. The darker shades are still available but the lighter shades are all out of stock.
