My husband bought me this one last year for Christmas.  It's similar to a SimpleHuman one that was being sold around the same time, only cheaper.  In fact, I don't think it was even that price at the time.  It's USB charge.  So far it still charges, but it doesn't go long between charges.  

My only other problem with it is that I stand to do my makeup.  I put a big fat book underneath it, but still have to squat to use it.  It is not adjustable height the way the SH one was, but the amount of light is adjustable.

I like the quality of Zadro mirrors. They are not super expensive and distortion free. I use 5X for makeup and 10X for tweezing or detail use.

I highly recommend the iHome make-up mirror.  It has three different light settings with multiple intensities.  It also has Bluetooth and a USB port in the back.  I absolutely love this baby! I bought mine from Bed, Bath & Beyond, but I'm sure it can be found elsewhere as well.

Keep in mind that if you choose a battery powered one that is not chargeable it will burn through the batteries like no tomorrow.
