Arm and Hammer makes a aluminum-free deodorant that works well. It is not carried by every store but its worth the search or ordering it on line. It works well. I found it for my teen daughter to use.

Is aluminum proven to cause breast cancer? Why aluminum-free? Just curious...never heard this before.

I agree the cystal deodorant is the best without the aluminum. Having gone through breast cancer I tried the Tom's. It's terrible.

LAVANILA makes really nice deodorants and they are aluminum free. All natural no harsh chemicals, not tested on animals. Made in the USA. Really works well and has several different scents. Try Sephora or other online retailers and look for deals. I stock up when Sephora has a 20% off and grocery stores have special offers for buying Sephora gift cards. Win. Win.

If you get the Lavanila one, keep the receipt. I've tried two scents and both caused horrible rashes for me. Based on the reviews on Sephora and elsewhere, I'm not the only one. I was disappointed because I liked it, I just can't use it.

I still use Tussy; I'll never change.

My fave natural is Yves Rocher Hamamelis. It's a subtle herbal scent. I got it along with my new fave shower gel (orange).

Dry Idea Advanced Dry ""Powder Fresh"". I've tried some of the naturals from Whole Foods but keep going back to my Dry Idea roll-on. The others I've tried feel too wet.

No, it's not proven to cause cancer. Study results have been conflicting. Info from the American Cancer Society here: http://www.cancer.org/cancer/cancercauses/othercarcinogens/athome/antiperspirants-and-breast-cancer-...

I am going to try Donna Karan Cashmere Mist deodorant. I've heard rave reviews of it on youtube.
