If there's one beauty trend taking over Instagram right now, it's holographic nails. It all started (well, at least we noticed) when Gigi Hadid wore an chrome manicure at the Met Gala earlier this year. Her look—which cost $2,000, BTW—spawned a ton of look-alikes, including this $10 version we couldn't stop staring at. Now the manicure trend has evolved into something that has beauty bloggers equally as obsessed. But why should you care? Just take a look at some of our favorite examples and prepare to be amazed:

I love these! Pretty, different, and fun! The squoval and round tips are a little more appealing to me; those pointy stiletto tips scare me.

I like the holo nails, shaped square round...really dislike the talon looking nail...too witchy.

OMG, I hope Antonella never hears about these hideous looking things.  I turned on the TV one day recently when she was doing a jewelry show and all I saw were these huge, long, square purple nails.  I never even noticed the jewelry she was selling.  I can't believe they condone her excesses.

I love these! And watching that video leads to watching more. The chrome nails were pretty too. Perhaps a company will put together a kit with all the necessities to create one of these looks.

And did you see the video where the gal puts on 100 coats of polish then peels it off at the end? (Return to #Polish Mountain). The things some people come up with. . .

Not my "cup of tea" ..... I guess I like the simple old fashioned polished nails that always look great & professional & can be worn for work or dress up .... simple is best for me!! 💅 💕

It's just that her manicurist doesn't know diddly about what a good manicure is...maybe Antonella does her own nails...either way, pretty baaaad😝
