thoughts? I prefer powder foundation and this line intrigues me due to the wide color selection and SPF. I have combo skin FYI

I have used Jane Iredale's mineral makeup since the late 1990s. My dermatologist introduced me to this line, and it has been my staple ever since. Jane Iredale's products are very pigmented; cover better than Bare Minerals; are made without bismuth oxychloride; and there's no animal testing. In fact, Jane recently wrote an outstanding blog on why she abhors the testing of cosmetics on animals.

If there's no animal testing, then humans are the guinea pigs.
Sometimes companies that do not test on animals, use research from the companies that do test on animals. They just don't do it themselves.

@Sunshine Kate What you say is often true but I don't think it applies to the Iredale products. https://janeiredale.com/us/en/makeup-blog/saying-no-animal-testing/

I think her products are excellent. I don't use powder foundation, but have been happy with everything I have tried.
She has her own web page.

I used her powder foundation for years but as I'm aging it's not as flattering.
I believe Nordstrom's carries it now.

@tansy I use the loose powder foundation. After applying, I use a spritz of the Pommist on a very large brush and lightly tap it all over my face as a finishing touch. This makes my foundation look almost creamy -- no powdery appearance at all. However, I do understand that what works for one may not work for others.

@JoNikki I am equally intrigued by this makeup. I have been trying to find my perfect color match. Last month I went to a local spa that carries her line for a color match. However when I went to lunch with friends they all told me how white my face was. So I'm back to square one. I determined though.
The girl who did my makeup told me that it is 99% natural. I say try it. If you go to her website you can email a beauty consultant and get samples. I've done that numerous times.
