I had bought a duo travel sized compact of NARS Orgasm Blush & Laguna bronzer.

I find with my coloring (light with some pink undertones) that Orgasm needs to be built for it to be seen.

Lately, I am using a sample of Lancôme Blushing Tresor blush. It looks similar to Orgasm with that subtle shimmer but it’s a darker more visible pink on me. Two swipes is enough for each cheek area.

Just wanted to put it out there for those who want some subtle shimmer but  not a light pink blush like a Orgasm.

Does anyone find that using Orgasm, needs more of it to be seen?

@JustJazzmom  No. One light swipe of the NARS blush on each cheek on my fair skin is more than enough blush. If I use much more color than that, I tend to get that “Raggedy Anne” look.

@Shanus@JustJazzmomOne sweep is enough for me as well and I am fair but considered the lightest olive.

Re: NARS Orgasm Powder Blush

@Lipstickdiva  I wish it had a different name but this year is the first time I tried it because my usual brand discontinued my shade.  Now I ordered Even Pearl Sweet Cheeks and waiting for it to be delivered.  My skin is fair/light so I don't want a dramatic color blush.

Re: NARS Orgasm Powder Blush

I tried the much less expensive Milani Luminoso Blush.  I saw it listed on blog after blog as the real deal dupe for NARS O.  Recently, my 24 yr. old niece who swears by her NARS O blush was visiting and tried my Milani Luminoso.  She said, "No!!  I like this so much better than my NARS!  It's so much softer!"

For whatever it's worth...

It's funny, I am a fair/light skin and own the Nars O liquid blush and I don't find it too light at all.  In fact, I am very light handed applying it.  I tried a powder sample of Nars O and the same thing. I just like a hint of color on my cheeks because I don't want to look too made up.  Since I am in my 60's less is more for me.

+1 I am also fair/light skin and I think I dab the brush into the compact about every 3 days.  I just need a quick tap of the brush on my cheeks and I'm good to go.  It needs a very light hand, otherwise you start looking like 1970s models.

Re: NARS Orgasm Powder Blush

It is too orange for me. Plus powder blush is aging IMO. I think people bought it for the name to part of the cool girls.  .......or maybe not.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

Re: NARS Orgasm Powder Blush

I just got this the other day. Been wearing it since. I love it! Heart

A big thumbs up for WnW dupe for Nars O. The Pearlescent Pink has more pigment and less glitter than Nars. It's a winner! $3

Re: NARS Orgasm Powder Blush

I've decided that I don't really like Nars O blush or dupes of it either since I don't like gold obvious shimmer in peach/coral blushes at all.
