What surgery?
I lost over 100lbs 20 years ago, I'm now in my early 40's and workout 6 days a week, I HATE the extra skin on my tummy and never had children, at times I think of having it removed.....

Teresa Tapp is a physical therapist. These programs(CD's) are aimed for people with injuries, health issues and older. They work so well for everyone. She puts your body in proper alignment so without even without moving you are activating muscle- that alone builds muscle and the program works with just that. Her program is not made for time invested , buying equipment or watching her float around but it is thoughtful movements and consistancy. She teaches how to activate muscle with mind to body movement slowly. The program is not meant for you to for hours or everyday. You only do what you can do and you will see improvement and start to heal. The biggest plus is that she is an excellent teacher, it is not like other programs where they just have you watch and follow them.
She has a hugh site, following and a forum. This is the site:
The phone is 1 877-827-7348.
You can call and ask for help but look over the site before your call. Tell them your health issues and concerns. It is worth the time and investment which is very minimal.
I started with the Basic Workout Plus CD it is only 15 minutes long. Really highly recommend her CRT Skin Tightening System Body Brush Kit it comes with Premium Blended Alfalfa and Fibertox it will be an immediate start to help getting your skin back in shape.
She has started kits that include help - so you can call whenever, they also have trainers moderate the forums and will answer your questions on the forums.
eta.
As you close in on your goals you should reward yourself, this kit is pure luxury and great for the skin, - it is on special pricing and also will give your skin firming and exfoliating in a gentle manner. After getting one had to order 2 more. This from evine live.
BE VERY CAUTIOUS IF YOU DECIDE TO USE TTAP!!! I used her exercises for couple of days in order to tighten my upper arm muscles and injured myself to the point that I could no longer reach my arms backward without pain! It took months of being very careful in reaching for my upper arm muscles to return to normal.
I would never recommend TTAP!

A friend of mine lost weight and her husband said that as long as she did that she should go and have her face ""sanded""--I think he meant a peel/exfoliation. They have been divorced many years now.

I had a similar problem--but I have some joint issues. I took all kinds of classes and I ended up realizing, for my body (loose joints, arthritis, tall) there are exercises that work for me and some that are stressing parts I can't have stressed.
I love working with weights, and I use an aerobic workout from Joyce Vedral. Yeah, she's an old gal and she has this Brooklyn accent that drives Southerners to distraction but she works for me. It uses a light set of dumbbells so you get aerobic and muscle strength together.
And I use that Body Blade, which is dynamic tension-creating (like isometrics) and really helps the shoulders, which are a weak joint and muscle group to begin with.
And walking is good for me, too. It's a natural movement and we all have to walk, if we can. My goal is to be able to be on vacation and walk a city. I was on vacay in February, and except for a bed like a wooden board that pinched a nerve in my hip, I was able to walk all over comfortably.

I used T-tap years ago and I hurt my back. I had good form and I went slow. I still hurt my back. Like most forms of exercise, some people swear by it and others do not. If you decide to try it, look at their try before you buy videos and go slowly.
I love Joyce Vedral! I own many of her videos. I started right after I saw her on Montel Williams many years ago. She is hilarious!

Not everyone likes Joyce. Some people pick on her form, but I don't think, from classes I had with a weight trainer years ago, that she is off the mark. It seems if you are younger, you don't like her because, well, she's an old broad (like me!)
I like the cheapo body bar I got, mainly because I spent half of what I would on it elsewhere. I was nervous I'd overspend (I did on some other equipment that I regret.) Now, I'm more cautious and try it out first or find one that isn't so pricey. I got a Gazelle for $25 bucks via a classified ad. I like it, but don't use it a lot.

Campion, just picked up my cheapo b blade from wmart yesterday. haven't used it yet, today I'm COOKING for Easter!!! Hoping it does some good. I'm older and need something. Hope I can handle this.
