Mixing together two different formulas a good idea?

I ordered a 32 oz. tea tree to use after a very bad hair cut and swear it made my hair grow twice as fast. I do however find it drying and went back to my POM CC and styling cream as my hair is a good length and in much better condition now.

My question is I have a 32 Oz. POM about 1/3 full with pump now not working and would like to mix it with the half bottle or so of TT to finish them both off and not waste the TT.

Is this a good idea to mix two different formulas?
