@donna71wrote:I watched a show-actually several shows -where Linda Marshall talked about the ingredients in her line. She said that if mor companies could get Matryxl then there would be as many creams with it as the flood on the market of retinol. It is very hard for a company to get Matryxl, it is patented. I also heard Manuela say the same thing. I thinkIsomers launched Matryxl in North America. Also Linda Marshall had matryxl first in the USA (elysee)
@donna71, yes, I have heard Linda Marshall say that and also that is a good substitute for those who can't use retinol.
As for the difficulty in getting Matrixyl, NCN Professional Skincare includes all three types of Matrixyl in their serum.
@suzyQ3 There's actually four kinds now. The newest one was launched last year, I believe. It's called Matrixyl Morphomics. Isomers has it in their Isomers Matrixyl-4 Pur Serum and Elysee has it in their Fountain of Youth Wrinkle Resist treatment. It's supposedly very expensive and hard to get.
@JeanLouiseFinch, I checked them out and the Isomers is supposed to be used only in cycles, and the Elysee one is not exactly what I want. I did just message NCN to see if Nanci is now including the new form of Matrixyl in her serum -- no answer so far.
@suzyQ3 It may not be available to Nanci, or maybe to costly for her at this point. You're right about the Isomers serum. It's more like a booster type thing to be used a few times a year. What I don't understand with Isomers, though, is that the use instructions say the bottle will last 30 days yet Isomers serums are always dispensed in 3-5 drops. I would think that bottle would last longer than a month. So is a person supposed to stop at 30 days or use to the bottom of the bottle and then take the break? The video on Evine is somewhat deceptive too. The host claims Isomers is the ONLY company who has access to the ingredient and have been grandfathered in. Yeah, right. Then they talk aboue the auto ship plan where the product would come every 90 days. Unless someone is really overusing, would they really need a new bottle in 90 days. Too much double talk if you ask me and it's too pricey to be playing games like that with people.
I don't catch the Isomers programs, so I don't know what they say about how to use Matrixyl. But if it is supposed to take the place of retinol, I don't see why one couldn't use it every day, rather than as a booster.
If someone is using the Isomers, perhaps you can ask the company how their Matrixyl is intended to be used.
The company I was using was...well, I forget at the moment, but none that were mentioned here. Just that they never said any ot their serums were boosters. Just that you could use serum on top of serum on top of serum.
@JeanLouiseFinchDidn't you say you were using several serums? Are they taking the place of a moisturizer for you? (just wondering.)
eta: the company was Bella something or other, which I was using.
@Harpa, today I checked the new Isomers serum, and yes, they want you to use it only for 30 days at a time. Those instructions were on both the Isomers site and Evine. I also came across a couple of old QVC threads that mentioned this as well.
I would not risk overrinding the instructions, so I won't be buying this serum.
I've been using the Isomers Matrixyl-4 serum daily since it first came out several months ago. I only use a couple of drops in the morning and am about halfway through my second 1.86 oz bottle. It does help with the little lines around my mouth and eyes. I also use the R Pur serum (which is also supposed to be a booster) daily in the evening. It's possible that I might get even better results (and save a little money) if I use the products as boosters, but since I'm happy with my results I'm not inclined to change how I'm using them.

Timeless makes Matryxil serum. You can find it on Amazon, or their site. They mix their serums upon ordering. I also have emailed Timeless with questions, and they respond quickly. I use their vitamin C serum, and I'm happy with it. I do keep it refrigerated, and it never yellows, or crytalizes.
@Dazlin, the two Timeless Matrixyl serums each contain only of the four Matrixyls on the market. NCN includes three and hopefully the fourth in the future. I've been very pleased with product.
