I was looking at them too but was wondering if the plastic leaves a mark on your face where when you take it off?   I'm thinking it will leave a red mark of the outline from the frame.   Has anyone had that issue?

Since we never see these on any medics, I wonder if they are uncomfortable or if they decrease efficiency of the mask.  They should know.

I sadly gave up all my lipstick and foundation, not worth the aggrevation. Only thing I use is a serum or moisturizer with a bit of blush and eye makeup.

I would never EVER give up on makeup, especially lipgloss!  I don't care if anyone saw it or not.  Sooner or later the mask comes off (I haven't figured out how to eat with a mask on) Smiley Wink  All restaurants have been open here for months.  Masks wearing is a lot more lenient in my area...so far.

no one sees it with the mask on.

Thanks for the name.  I was wondering what to call it.

Vera Bradley masks have a pocket in the to slip this plastic guard into.

I find them very comfortable to wear...

The "savers" came today.

They do slip/clip onto the folds of the paper maks and they stayed in place while my trial run at home.

I needed some expert advice, so I spent some time talking to myself to see if the "thing" stayed in place.

I same a couple of songs .. .  so far so good.

I'm going out to lunch with a friend on Friday - so I'll do a real-life test, and plan on wearing it to church on Saturday.

@ALRATIBA    There is now a mask that has a clear plastic covering over the whole face so you can see the lipstick.  I wonder about the heat factor with all the plastic.

@Katcat1

Good question!

The Hearing Loss Association was looking into the transparent mask - for the hearing impaired who read lips.  A friend of mine has that issue,

I would guess by now there would be an HLAA approved that will allow one to breathe!
