I came across this plastic thing that you could clip into your face mask that will save your lipstick ... and make it easier to breathe.  There are a couple of different "styles."  This is the one I ordered from Amazon.  Should be here tomorrow.  (I wish it was here today - I could use it early tomorrow.)

I'm buying them not so much for the lipstick - but so the mask doesn't rub against my lips and chin while talking.  (I spend a lot of time in places where I need to wear a mask.)

I ordered "mask bracket" last week to make it easier to breathe and talk.

@ALRATIBA. I have these. I work in a school and I have to wear my mask all the time while I’m in school. The bracket does making breathing with a mask on a little easier.

I have had these for a few weeks, they are great but I have yet to figure out how to hook them on to the mask

Someone was on the Today Show recently, she spoke about it and we got to see what it looks like.

@I am still oxox

On Amazon - they are shown with these little tabs on each side that slip onto the folds of the paper mask.

The ad said you could also use double sided tape.

I'll probably tape it to my cloth masks, and just clip on the paper ones.

I just don't wear the lipstick. I hate wearing the mask since it causes my face to breakout. I think I will just stop wearing the makeup. Good thing I had a mask in my car yesterday. I forgot all about it when I left to run errands.

Re: Mask / lipstick saver

There is an article in Prevention (Aug. 28), that states that these may defeat the purpose of a mask. A mask is supposed to serve as a barrier and this device prevents that

I can't figure out why someone would want to wear lipstick under a mask.
