Cover Girl Professional Remarkable. The tube is purple in color. I have used it for years. No flake problem for me.

I wanted to thank you for this recommendation. Yours just happened to be the one I tried first and I’m really liking it. I can put it on lightly for a natural look, no clumping, no flaking. It applies better for me than any mascara I’ve used in years. I’d never even heard of it and I hope I haven’t jinxed it 😁

It's going to be a matter of trial and error.

Some of the ones recommended here I have tried and found them to be absolutely awful.  Mascara is probably the hardest make-up item for me to find.

I cannot stand clumps, I cannot stand spider lashes, it can't be too wet, I'm not messing around combing through my lashes, it can't flake, it can't get on my contacts, I like the traditional brush, I don't want to have to do multiple coats and on and on.  LOL

I’m a fan of the tubing mascaras. L’Oréal double extend is one, and boots also has one, it’s in a gold tube.
