A couple of years ago, Josie had a holiday special called "Moroccan Escape." Do any of you know what the actual scent was? I found a small jar of the body butter and I love the smell (no label on it). It might be "Vanilla Pear." I got some butter in "Vanilla Apricot" which I will send back. I've never liked Apricot anything but I gave it a try. Recommendations would be great. I like to wear scents like Shalimar and Opium.  Vanilla Bean might work but that doesn't seem to be available much.

Re: Josie Maran Scent - Moroccan Escape

Yes, the Moroccan Escape was the Vanilla Pear scent.

Josie doesn't do a lot of spicy/Oriental scents. You might want to try Vanilla Fig (or try Philosophy's Sweet Vanilla Fig).

Vanilla Bean is a lovely scent. It's a true vanilla bean and is very light. Some of her fragrances, like the Vanilla Pear, are strong and some, like the Vanilla Bean, are very light.

Vanilla bean rocks my world. It's soft and subtle and comforting, but not sweet. It's my go-to!

Yes it is Vanilla Pear, which is one of my favorites as well! I'm not a huge lover of spicy scents but would recommend Josie's newer vanilla orange (it isn't always available) but to me it is similar to the vanilla pear as far as strength and type of scent. Ofcourse, it is hard to recommend scents because we are all different, but I hope this helps! Smiley Happy
