Seeing many hosts wearing "dragon" nails these days.  Not only do they look fake and tacky, they are distracting from the presentations.  That said, there are several hosts who have very realistic and more modest appropriate looking nails.  This is much appreciated.

What does this subject have to do with handbags?

Nail fashion is getting pretty graphic and artistic again.  This trend comes and goes.  It is a great money maker for the nail techs who were out of work for so long.

It doesn't bother me., but I wonder how some keep those nails hygienic and keep from injuring themselves.

personal taste....not my style, but enjoy it if you like it - just a current trend and most likely not appropriate in certain professional settings.

I have only had one manicure back in 1981.  I was helping a friend out who had just got her license and went to see her at her new employment.  For me it is a waste of money when I can do my own nails since I do not want fake nails or some kind of design on them.  Paint I can do at home for free.

Would this thread get more attention in BEAUTY instead of Handbags?

@beckyb1012   This thread was moved since I DID find it in beauty. I've always done my own nails...short, neat with clear nail hardener. For the type of work I do, I couldn't keep them any other way.
