@ccassaday

I guess that's why I like the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray for my powder foundation, it helps melt it into the skin. I don't need that with liquid foundation.

Makeup melting doesn't sound like a good thing to me, LOL.

@Jordan2  I am an oily skin girl Smiley Very HappyHeart! I love NYX Bare With Me setting spray.  It has a beautiful fine mist and this stuff keeps my makeup on during my 80's aerobics VHS tape exercises.  Its under $10 and its my favorite.  Another great setting spray that I use is Maybelline Lasting Fix which is also under $10.

It's hard to explain until you use it. It has a beautiful finish. Some people use it between layers then put a setting spray like urban decay as the last step to lock it in. I will use it after foundation and concealer.  Then again after blush and bronzer.  The Milani one is more like the urban decay that really is the last step. The CT is more of a in between layers spray. My makeup does really well all day using a setting spray in this way.

@Jordan2 - I probably shouldn't answer, because my skin is not oily. It's combination.

But I think you should check out Mally's Face Defender  I use it every day. It keeps my makeup on and keeps any shine away.

Look up the reviews and see what you think.

In the hot summer I sometimes use Mario Badescu's sprays. I received a set as a gift, and I like them. But if I want my makeup to stay on I turn to Mally.   Smiley Happy

I have oily skin, I prefer a blurring oil absorbing type of product either under or over makeup to a spray.

@beach-mom I actually have used this in the past, it didn't work for me.
