Time to purge my excess, barley used makeup. Does anyone have a suggestion where you can donate makeup/toiletries? . I hate to throw it out, I'm sure there is some organization that would take barely used makeup. Any suggestions?

Possibly a women's shelter. Contact City Hall.

For health reasons, a shelter would not take used make up. Just disgard it.

do you have any friends, family or co-workers that would want it? I would sanitize with rubbing alcohol before giving away.

yes this.
I do know there are beauty threads where you can trade gently used makeup but honestly, I don't know anyone who wants used makeup, regardless of how well it is "sanitized". I think you have to just throw it out.

Swap it with friends/family, else toss it. Any shelter that takes it is violating their county health code and believe me (because I've been the one to haul it out), it goes straight to the dumpster.
Would you want someone else's used products not knowing their hygiene? Then why do you think men, women and/or children in a shelter would?
