@Porcelain Just a little trick to see a more true test of lip color: Instead of trying on arm which is not only lighter, but usually smoother in texture, test color on the between the top of thumb of forefinger....a few lines, texture more like lips and skin a shade darker than arm.
**** When I use up a eye shadow palette, I wash it out and use it for lipsticks (slice off portions w/ floss). Then you can mix & match shades & if small enough take it in bag. 🌸
Nice trick! You are right. My hand is at least a shade darker than my arm. I will try that. ![]()

@Kachina624 wrote:@mimi5775. I'd like to have some kind of thick liquid with synthetic tiny hairs that i could apply with one of the brushes with short, stiff, slanted bristles. The waxy products are too dry and hard. I may have to start my own lab and invent something. If you find anything, holler.
@Kachina624To be honest with ya and I'm only here sporadically now I must say and not sure if others posted about Wunderbrow, but if you take your time, get the right brush (not the brush in the tube...BOGUS!) but a good linerbrow duo ended brow brush (PUR has them at Kohls .. they are so less $ and better then high enders like myTrish M's new brow brush that has only one end, no spooly but it's nice brush ..any brow brush that is kinda firm not stiff work best - you brush up brows then fill in and brush down start with a small amount of Wunderbrow taking the brush/wand and applying a small dab on top of your hand or from the tube. It covers any grays if there and the Blonde is ash and darker.. good for many and my med-brown highlighted hair as I had said to another, that they call things Blonde when dark! I don't know why.
It looks so nice when you really wish to look really ploished and have then they stay all day/night and in place. I looked like a diff person (better) when I used it the times I did. Just takes time and all. It is removed by oil based easily I find. It's a thicker liquid. You may like it! CVS has it and they gave me 25 off...not much $$ at all anyway. Maybe try that?
Or start a brow lab.
NOT.
I am always thinking of something new but the marekt is FLOODED! Panic mode when walking into Ulta now dear goodness! :-O
Just read the cozzie business is a three trillion dollar business.
Unreal when it's as we know overpriced and unfairly marked up grrrrrr
Night now
@mimi5775 Thanks so much for the advice and instructions. I'll get some Wunderbrow and give it a try. I'll save your directions.

@Kachina624 I was looking at Sephora's website and I couldn't believe how many new brands were shown. Brands I had never even heard of. Sure is a good business.

Any product that has ever promised to lighten dark spots. I have melasma that never went away after I had my second son 10 years ago. I cannot even begin to list the products that I've used over the last 10 years to try to fade them and NONE of them have worked. NONE.

@Shanus .... Use up an eye shadow palette? I've NEVER done that! LOL. Good tip if you use one up.
@ItsME 😁 Sometimes in a smaller palette, I get pretty close to the bottom of 1 or 2 of my favorite shadows knowing I won’t wear the other 4 all the way “down”. I scrape out the extra, wash, and then fill with lipstick. I try now when buying a palette to limit the shadow colors and have ones that maybe also have a blush, bronzer, etc. No more of those 12-14 shades Urban Decay Naked palettes. They’re a waste for me. ***Great palette for my “pro” kit, though.

Squeeze the tip of your index finger until it reddens and test the lipstick there. That will give you the most accurate color. Also, for your lips but better, pull down your lower lip to see the inside. That's your most flattering tone.

@Blondelle Yes, matching a lip color to inside of lower lip will give you your perfect nude lip shade, only a bit darker, but not wash you out. I learned this tip from Bobbi, herself.

same w/me. Triluma Rx only thing that as remotely worked for some of my melasma. None has ever completely disappeared.
