This has been discussed before. I don't think Mally means to offend anyone, it's just something she says since she started on QVC.

@Jordan2, several times. Should we drop the word "bullet" altogether? How about we use some common sense regarding context.

There's a coffee called "Death Wish".  I'm sure that offends a lot of people.

"Bullet Proof" is used by many companies, it's not offensive at all.  We need to stop being so sensitive to every little thing in life. There is someone somewhere offended by something.

Today no one can say anything that someone won,t find offense.  What a world we now have to look forward.  Yesterday in the news Cadbury chocolates came out with a candy bar featuring, three favors of chocolate in one bar.  Dk. Choc./milk choc./ white choc.  All in one bar in layers.   Now someone cries it,s the R word.  My god, give me a break.  It,s a flavored candy bar.  I think Hershey did this in my day  in the dinosaur era..

Re: MALLY’S TAG LINE

[ Edited ]

Although I posted that I have no problem with the use of the word "bullet," I am in favor a more sensitivity in many cases -- I'm glad that slurs that were accepted and commonplace years ago are now no longer considered acceptable.

So while PC can be taken too far on occasion, I am generally pleased by the new norms.

@qvcaddition- maybe I'm thick, but I don't understand what the R word is referring to? However, that chocolate sure sounds good to me!

@sunala, I'm guessing the R word is "racist," even though I don't understand the example. I seriously doubt that there is an uproar over this incident, but again, I don't even get it.

@Sabear   Maybe a more kind way to disagree?

That,s exactly what was reported on the news.  Years ago Hersley did the same and no uproar.  Getting ridiculous.
