@suanne wrote:I used Mary Kay Day Radiance liquid foundation until they discontinued it and tried the Timewise Luminous 3D type. I do not like it at all and would like suggestions from others who had to find a new brand. I'm 68 with good skin. Thanks so much!
@suanne Yes, a Bobbi Brown fan here. When she started the company, she wanted the foundations to be in many shades and formulations. There are stick foundations, serum foundations, full coverage, more matte foundations for oily skins, etc. The shade range is great and if you order online, there is free returns on foundations to get another shade and a shade cart online.
The best thing to me is that the concealers are made to match. You choose one w/ the same name as your foundation and they're formulated for you about a shade lighter to bring brightness to the eye....no guess work.

@suanne It looks from what you have that you prefer a luminous foundation. Personally, I love Georgio Armanii Luminous Silk foundation. Its a light to med. coverage. Its the only liquid foundation that I have except BareMineral Complexion Rescue hydrating tinted moisturizer & BM Original mineral foundation. Armani has many shades to choose. Just go to a counter at Sephora or dept. store & have them match you up.

I just got the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation this week. It's the last thing Mel talked me into buying and like the Huda blush, CT powder, and Bitter Peach perfume (that I didn't actually buy but was sent a sample), I really really like it! Not sure if I like it as much as Lancome Tient Idole tho. I used a different primer than I usually use so I need to try it again with the same primer before making up my mind.

A natural finish, not matte nor too luminous with medium coverage. Thanks!

Thanks for that advice! I never had to do this since I wore the Mary Kay foundation for so many yeas.

@monicakm I think the G Luminous works well for Normal to Dry skin. I think Mel used it when her skin got more on the dry side in the cooler weather. Otherwise, she had combo skin. So sad. She was in constant physical pain & suffered from anxiety & depression but she was so brave & was able to get joy from her channel & family. Heaven has an angel.

What a nice nice tribute. She was indeed a very special angel on earth. I hope her family has found some peace in the tremendous outpouring of love and support.
And just a fyi, Mel's videos will stay up on YT. Views help the family financially.
