I have super thin sliver lips! I am so happy for those that have naturally plump lips. I’ve never been able to wear lipstick since I have nothing to put it on. I tried fillers twice… they were gone in a month. Apparently I metabolize them quickly. It’s just sad. Does anyone have experience with a Botox lip flip? Still looking for a good solution. Thank you in advance.
@Bernie Yup.....went thru the "filler thing".....and I drooled, dropped crumbs, banged my teeth with the fork, etc. Biggest waste of money I ever spent. And, like you, it didn't last very long, thank heaven! So, I just don't wear lipstick. di

I don't have any personal experience with it other than what I've read online and I think it can look good but some of the photos I've seen look like duck lips, which maybe what some people want. I'd be curious to hear about personal experience with it. My lips are okay size wise but I have those little lines on my bottom lip I'd like to get rid of but I haven't bit the bullet and tried any injectable yet.
There are personal unsponsored reviews on realself.com for just about every procedure out there. I browse those when I get bored.

Sure, your very welcome. It like going down a rabbit hole for me reading the personal experiences!

I have had lip fillers injected (and removed). And have been getting them (sporadically) for about 10 years.
I did get older filler removed (it didn't hurt); but I joked with my Dr that I had separation anxiety once removed. I ended up getting a lip flip; I loved the look of it. However, it lasted about 2-3 months for me. I did it again once more after (and it was about the same longevity). The time invested into maintaining them was the only reason I won't continue with the lip flip. I did go back to filler, and it is nothing like the filler I initially had (meaning the products have progressed and it is much more natural looking and feeling). At one time I had filler PLUS the lip flip. That was the most natural look and I did love that.
The main thing I would suggest, is to go to a Doctor. Not a med spa (unless you are highly recommended). Granted, that's just my opinion. I like how the nurses and staff (where I go), have had Botox/injections, but look like the best natural version of themselves. Going somewhere for a consultation or looking at their IG with overly done looks would steer me away.
Of course, everyone is going to have a different objective. I do not have a symmetrical smile, so the filler makes it symmetrical. The injectors experience is imperative with that.
I'm not sure if I actually clarified anything. But don't hesitate if you have any questions and I'll be happy to let you know the things I loved and didn't.
