I think lipliner should coordinate with your lipstick or gloss color.

But that being said, I'm not a huge lip liner fan.  I have a few in my make-up bag and I had decided awhile ago I needed to start using them up.  So I use a liner every morning and I use a gloss with it. When the gloss mixes with the lipliner, it creates a really pretty color.

A few months back I was wearing a Clinique lipliner with Benefit Sugar Bomb gloss.  I had more people ask me about my lip color.  Strangers would comment on it.  The lipliner was so old, the name had worn off so I don't even know what it was to recreate the look now that I've used up the lipliner. That sounds nice!  Too bad you don't have the name of the liner.  Sometimes it pays to just experiment.

The ELF LipLock is totally clear. Just a quick pass around your lips and that lipgloss/stick is not going anywhere. Stays put and no feathering. Some very pricy brands have this exact same thing at 4 and 5 times the price. This one is the best I ever found.

Everyone has me convinced on this product.  Have to order it!
