Lines going down either side of my nose --- does any thing help with this?

I don't know what you call these lines?  Is there a special name for them??  Besides ugly!

Anyway, when I don't wear makeup, I don't even really notice them or think they are that noticeable. But, when I do, they seem more pronounced.  Ugh -- no --- not what I'm wanting to highlight!

Is there a product that I could use to smooth over these vertical lines to make them look less noticeable when wearing makeup?  Would some kind of primer just in that area work before applying makeup - or what?

Thanks!

Using a facial toner machine like NuFace or Suzanne Somer really helps to tone your face.

Also the way you apply your make can make a world of difference in hiding them or accenting them. Wish it was possible to put an instagram page up on here that really changed the way it I applied my makeup. It's not even a one minute process.  I use Laura Geller which is a very natural look.

Part of the trick is to get a nice light concealer stick  Laura Mercie  Flawless Fusion is a favorite.

@AngelPuppy1   Like many of us, lines and wrinkles appear as we age. Lack of volume happens causing sagging and folds not just our faces.Lol

Unless you're having photos made where you can "fudge" the lines with white concealer to bring the area forward, products that temporarily plump the area (many leave a white crusty look), there's not much to do.

Try a good moisturizer and that's about all I know that may keep the area plumped.

Try

RoC Derm Correxion Fill + Treat Advanced Retinol Serum, Wrinkle Filler Treatment

It works nicely on my forehead lines.  About $30 at Amazon or Walmart, etc.

It works great when applied and is supposed to have long term effects too.

I have the nasolabial lines that I think you're talking about.  Not much I can do about them.  A primer may help keep makeup from settling in them.

@AngelPuppy1  I totally hear you! The lines seem to pop up overnight. I have them as well and haven't found anything that really helps. I have sensitive skin, so I can't use a lot of retinols. Dermal fillers can help smooth them out. I had it done years ago and it looked great - and lasted for years.

@AngelPuppy1   Fillers help.  Painful though.
